Our unique niche is that we offer surgeon groups and/or their health system joint venture partner a trusted, independent and Texas-experienced single-source “turnkey development” Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) solution allowing them the opportunity for 100% ownership and operations of their own ASC. We organize and manage initial Steering Committees and lead surgeon partnership development efforts in close collaboration with healthcare attorneys and the client. If desired, we can offer interim/transitional management and find the best fit in equity partner if needed. When ready for an Exit Strategy we leverage our national relationships to help the client “go to the next level” by finding the right Buyer and facilitate the ASC’s merger or acquisition.
Another unique niche, in this rapidly consolidating ASC sector, is that require no equity nor do we require management, we effectively manage the entire ASC project.
We scale to any size ASC project by aligning skill sets of proven domain experts in specific areas such as ASC Regulatory Compliance (oversight and tracking of key regulatory filings, proven ASC policies and procedures, staff training, “Mock Survey” preparation for Deemed Status accreditations, etc.), ASC Equipment Procurement, etc. Specific to Texas we have strong working relationships with premier healthcare attorneys, TDSHS’ Architectural Review Group and Facilities Licensing Divisions, CMS Zone Offices and various accrediting agencies (AAAHC, JCAHO, DNV, etc.) to ensure your ASC will promptly receive a Medicare Provider Number, TDSHS State License and “Deemed Status” Accreditation. To expedite starting operations we are very adept at working effectively with healthcare architects, general contractors, sub-contractors, equipment vendors, regulators, managed care negotiators and key staff to prepare the facility for successful a launch.
Our Development Agreement
Our Development Agreement clearly defines our roles, accountability, relationships, time management and fees. We hope BARMC will promptly request a detailed Development Agreement.
Our fees are easy for BARMC to budget as they are simply flat rate monthly fees which are time-bound (often 8-10 months depending on ASC facility construction or buildout time) and based on Project Scope.
